Tour of the Civic Pride Awards, Bexhill

Today, we have something a bit different. Steve and Alex from Bexhill Heritage have kindly agreed to give members of 1066 Cycle Club a guided ride to show us the winners for 2020 Bexhill Civic Pride Awards. Festival Club Ride – riding out from Alexandra Park we will cycle to Crowhurst and Catsfield, looping back through Lunsford Cross and Little Common before returning along the seafront. Approximately 18.5 miles, quite a few hills so set at level 2b although we will moderate the pace to suit all-comers. Family Fun Ride – together with Handsome Bikes we are organising a fun ride for families and children of year 7 and above. This will be a self-guided ride following a well signposted route. As you know we were hoping to arrange rides in September this year to replace the  proposed event in April 2021 but we regret to say that has not proved possible.  However we will be organising the usual three rides for SUNDAY 24th April 2022 so please put that date in your diaries and tell your friends.
