LAST Thurs ride – BATTLE 6pm

Our last Thursday evening ride of the year, this week we are starting at 6pm

Whenever possible we will aim to have two ride groups every week; a short & easy ride, and another which will be a bit longer and faster. The leaders will describe the route(s) at the beginning and you can chose which one you want to go on.
Note that neither of the rides fall into what we call “Level 1” because there aren’t any routes we can use that are on the flat

No need to book, just turn up. Please bring lights and a bike lock if you have them

If you feel like leading a ride then let Sue, Chris or Dale know beforehand

Thursday Evening ride – BATTLE

Thursday Evening rides in Battle will run throughout the summer (except for the first week of every month, when they will be in Bexhill or Little Common)

As with previous years we will meet on the Abbey Green, ready to start riding at 6:30pm. We will cycle for about an hour, then return to Battle for an [optional] drink at a café or pub

Winchelsea & Rye Harbour (Level-1 ride)

A gentle ride to have coffee at Rye Harbour. We will be following the National Cycle Network Route 2 to Winchelsea Beach and then on the traffic-free path through the nature reserve to our destination. The sea is on one side the lakes and wildlife on the other. A truly special place. We will ride as a group and there will be an opportunity to talk about group riding and road positioning. People returning to cycling are especially welcome. 11 miles in total. Do join Sue on this ride. 07952166819 to book in or for any queries.
