Tunbridge Wells Revisited
Sun 24th March , 10:30 am
This ride is back by popular demand, and will start from Tunbridge Wells Station (rear entrance). If you prefer to drive to the start, you can park for free on a Sunday on the roads around Tunbridge Wells Common. There is no free parking at the station, but it is very close to the common.
We ride out towards Pembury and then take the new A21 cycle path from Pembury to Tonbridge before heading west towards Haysden, Bough Beech and Hever. From there we head to Fordcombe, Langton Green and Rusthall and back into Tunbridge Wells. We will stop for lunch in one of the great pubs en route.
This ride is hilly, and has a mixture of off road paths, minor roads, town centre bustle and some short bits of quite major road. Fabulous scenery throughout and a bit different from our usual rides.
Start 10:30 am from Tunbridge Wells Station (rear entrance). Approximately 28 miles, Level-2B.
