Canterbury YHA weekend
Fri 25th August - Mon 28th August
The club has booked the two cabins at Canterbury YHA for the bank-holiday weekend in August. Between them they take a total of 10 people but does include 2 double beds.
We’ll be cycling from Rye to Canterbury on the Friday, although there is the option of making your own way there. If you are new to cycling with your kit on board there is plenty of help and advice around. You only have to ask.
We will be self catering and have 1 meal out in the evening which is not included. The cabins have minimal cooking facilities but we can use the big kitchen in the hostel.
If you are interested in coming please remember we do need to share the jobs to make this trip happen, so please get in touch with Sue (07952166819) if you would like to know more. We need ride leaders, somebody to organise the meal out, cooks and wash uppers amongst other things.
The cost is £100 which will include 3 breakfast and 2 evening meals. Everybody will be expected to bring 1 small food item and the list will be going out nearer the time. Any funds left will be donated to the club. It will be first come first served and payment will be required in full with cheques made payable to 1066 Cycle Club. Please send to Sue Burton, Arran, Saxonwood Road, Battle TN33 0EY. When the trip is full a reserve list will be set up and this will be posted on the club website.
